| NRA Basic Pistol | Cost $125 * |
| This is a 12-hour OHIO compliant course that meets the basic criteria of handgun knowledge, instruction in safety, handling, and storage of firearms, and basic marksmanship skills. Besides the excellent material in this NRA course, additional information and techniques useful for Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) and general self defense are added per other NRA courses. | |

| Personal Protection in the Home | Cost $125 * |
| This excellent 14-hour course teaches not only the basics of handgun knowledge, operation and safety, but also the tactical use of handguns in and around the home. This course deals with home security, safe room set up, and the aftermath of a deadly force encounter, among other topics. This course is given upon request. | |

| OFA Safety and Handling Around the Body | Free for OFA students |
| After all NRA course material is completed, and on a voluntary basis, OFA will provide an optional session. This course covers how to safely move a handgun into a holster and withdraw it using orthodox methods with a major emphasis on technique and safety. For those who will obtain an Ohio CCW License and intend to carry in public, OFA believes you will find this training most valuable. This training takes approximately 30 minutes and includes a DVD demonstration by expert handgun trainer Lenny Magill. For students of OFA, there is no charge. Remember to wear a good firm belt! | |

| Tactical CCW - Level 1 | $45.00 for OFA students $55.00 for non-OFA students |
| This a must for those who intend to increase their training to a point where their confidence and tactical skills give them an even greater chance of surviving a deadly force encounter. This course includes mastering the basics of holster presentation, reloading techniques, malfunction drills, using cover, concealment and barrier shooting, and other essential and useful tactical survival skills. This course includes 5 hours at our outdoor shooting facility. This is a dynamic firearms training course and as such, requires a commitment to safety and competency. | |
| Prerequisites: OFA requires a good strong side belt holster, a reliable handgun, and 150 rounds of good factory practice or self-defense ammo. This course fills fast, and only those with an Ohio CCW License may apply. | |
